What is the difference between the main governing bodies in college sports?

As you probably know, there are three main governing bodies that run college sports in the United States. The most famous one is obviously the NCAA, with its three divisions. The other two are the NAIA and the NJCAA, which is the organization that runs all sports at the junior college level. Which tests do I need to take and when should I take them?

College admission tests are a very crucial part of the recruiting process and taking them early can really increase your chances of getting your dream scholarship or to get into your favorite university. While things have changed a little bit since the pandemic, we still encourage all our athletes to take the SAT, as well as one of the English tests for athletes from non-English speaking countries. Before the pandemic, the SAT was mandatory and every school required it for admission purposes. However, this is no longer the case and a lot of colleges and universities no longer require it. It is well known that most professional golfers on the PGA Tour also played college golf prior to starting their pro careers. While many of them were highly recruited junior golfers, not all current superstars had an easy path into college golf. With Christmas quickly approaching, one question we get asked by parents a lot, is what happens with their kids during the holiday break? Being “ineligible” is something you should for sure try to avoid at all costs, because it probably means that you have done something wrong or that you were not supposed to do.
