⦿ College soccer has become a very attractive path to a professional career, especially on the women’s side where every professional or national team players has used the US college system to prepare a professional career

⦿ With the emergence of the MLS and the yearly MLS Draft, there are great opportunities for players to make it into that league straight out of college

⦿ The main season for college soccer is the fall semester, where all the big games and the national tournament take place

⦿ There are roughly 1400 men’s and 1600 women’s teams across all divisions and about 38,000 players on both sides, meaning that there are great scholarship opportunities for talented players

⦿ Scholarship limits per team: D1 Men – 9.9, D1 Women – 14, D2 Men – 9, D2 Women – 9.9, NAIA Men & Women – 12, NJCAA Men & Women – 18
